I love food. From a young age, I knew food was essential to not only my happiness, but also to my survival. When I was child, I always carried a purse stuffed with food toys because if I ever got stranded, my food toys were supposed to help satisfy my hunger… by looking at it (don’t swallow toys).

I’m Japanese-American. Grew up in Europe and the United States. The best way to learn about culture is through people and food… ideally both in the same room. So come aboard, explore and get cooking with me!
